What Kybella Does

When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. A Younger You will also use KYBELLA® in other areas of the body with small areas of stubborn fat such as "bra fat."

Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

All treatments are customized to each of our patient's needs. A complimentary consultation is the best way to determine your cost, but Kybella costs $400 per vial. Kybella is injected over 2-6 appointments that are a least 1 month apart. You can expect to need 1-4 vials per treatment depending on your specific needs and goals. The price does not only include your filler, but also the skill, knowledge, and expertise of your medical provider, and appointment time.

  • Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but the procedure is generally tolerated well. Don’t worry! We have many options to help keep you as comfortable as possible!

  • You may receive up to 6 treatment sessions, spaced at least 1 month apart. Many patients experience visible results in 2 to 4 KYBELLA® treatments.

  • The most common side effects are swelling, bruising, pain, numbness, redness and areas of hardness around the treatment area. These are not all of the possible side effects of KYBELLA®.

  • Following the treatment it is recommended to leave the skin alone and apply only the products discussed with your provider. The next day you are able to wash your skin and apply products and light makeup, however with that in mind the longer you allow your skin to heal without pollutants the better

  • KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.”

    It is not known if KYBELLA® is safe and effective for the treatment of fat outside of the submental area or in children under 18 years of age.
